From routine drain problems to major sewer line failures, Jon provides experienced diagnosis, cleaning, repair and replacement solutions throughout Encino and the San Fernando Valley.
Trenchless Sewer Replacement
Repair or replace damaged sewer lines with significantly less excavation when property and pipe conditions allow. Jon evaluates the existing line and recommends the right trenchless method for the job.

Sewer Camera Inspection
Video inspection helps locate roots, damage, offsets, blockages and other sewer-line problems before deciding on the proper repair or cleaning method.

Hydro-Jetting
High-pressure water cleaning for grease, roots, buildup and stubborn debris when the condition of the drain or sewer line makes hydro-jetting appropriate.

Sewer Line Repair & Replacement
Solutions for cracked, broken, offset, deteriorated or collapsed sewer lines. Jon identifies the failure and determines whether repair, replacement or another approach makes the most sense.

Drain Cleaning
Professional cleaning for slow, clogged and backed-up drains, with the problem diagnosed before recommending the appropriate clearing method.

Sewer Backups & Root Intrusion

Why Consider Trenchless Sewer Replacement?
When a damaged sewer line needs replacement, digging up a large portion of the property isn't always necessary. Depending on the condition, location and access to the existing sewer, trenchless methods can replace a damaged line with significantly less excavation.
Less Property Disruption
Trenchless methods can reduce excavation through driveways, patios, landscaping and other finished areas when site conditions allow.
Diagnose Before Digging
Camera inspection and proper sewer diagnosis help determine where the failure is and whether a trenchless approach makes sense.
The Right Method
Trenchless isn't always the answer for every sewer problem. Jon evaluates existing lines and conditions before recommending repair or replacement.
How Jon Diagnoses A Sewer Problem
A recurring backup or damaged sewer line shouldn't automatically mean replacement. Jon starts by identifying the problem, locating the failure and determining what the existing sewer line actually needs.
1 - Understand the Problem
Jon starts with the symptoms, history of the line and any recurring backups, slow drains or previous sewer work.
2 - Inspect the Sewer Line
When appropriate, a sewer camera is used to inspect the inside of the line and locate roots, cracks, offsets, deterioration, blockages or collapsed sections.
3 - Identify The Cause and Location
The condition and location of the problem help determine whether the line needs cleaning, localized repair or more extensive replacement.
4 - Review the Repair Options
Jon considers the condition of the pipe, access points and property before recommending conventional repair or a trenchless solution when appropriate.
5 - Complete and Verify the Work
The repair or replacement is completed using the appropriate method, followed by inspection and restoration of the work area as required.
What Jon Finds Inside Sewer Lines
Sewer problems aren't all the same. A camera inspection can reveal the actual condition of the line and help determine whether cleaning, repair or replacement makes sense. Here are some of the problems Jon commonly encounters in older sewer systems.
1 - Root Intrustion
Tree and plant roots can enter through joints, cracks and damaged sections of sewer pipe, restricting flow and leading to backups.
4 - Deteriorated Pipe
Older sewer lines can develop corrosion, scaling, weakened walls and other deterioration that affects the condition and capacity of the line.
2 - Cracked/ Broken Pipe
Clay, cast iron and other older sewer materials can crack, break or deteriorate over time, allowing soil and roots into the line.
5 - Sewer Line Bellies
A low section of sewer pipe can hold water and waste instead of maintaining proper gravity flow. The severity and location help determine what action is appropriate.
3 - Offset Pipe Joints
Sections of pipe can shift out of alignment, creating an obstruction that catches debris and interferes with proper flow.
6 - Collapsed Sewer Line
Severely damaged pipe can partially or completely collapse, restricting the line and potentially requiring repair or replacement of the affected section.
The camera tells the story. Jon uses the condition, location and extent of the damage to determine the practical next step instead of assuming every sewer problem needs the same solution.

When Is Trenchless Sewer Replacement the Right Choice?
Trenchless technology can reduce excavation and property disruption, but the right repair depends on the condition of the sewer, access, layout and type of failure. Jon evaluates the line before recommending a replacement method.
Trenchless May Be A Good Fit
Property preservation matters
The sewer runs beneath landscaping, hardscape, driveways or other areas where extensive excavation would be disruptive.

A larger section of pipe needs replacement
The condition of the sewer makes replacement more practical than repeated localized repairs.

Suitable access is available
The property and sewer layout provide workable access for the appropriate trenchless method.
Another Approach May Be Better

The problem is localized
A smaller conventional repair may make more sense when damage is limited to one accessible section.

The line has unsuitable conditions
Certain collapses, alignment, grade or access problems can affect which repair methods are practical.
The sewer needs cleaning not replacement
Roots or buildup do not automatically mean the entire sewer line needs to be replaced.
